Is written as a parable of how pursuing life well centered in Christ compares to the process of candle making.
You find in:
10 The disciples came to him and asked, “Why do you speak to the people in parables?”
11 He replied, “Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. 12 Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them. 13 This is why I speak to them in parables:
“Though seeing, they do not see;
though hearing, they do not hear or understand.
In October of 2011 my love of Christ and candles became one through an overwhelming amount of ideas that came to me during my time with God. He gave me knowledge of how living a Christ centered life compared to the process of candle making!
Whenever I am preparing to make candles I enjoy “setting the mood,” I turn on my worship music and enjoy praising God as He helps me to create each one.
of how pursuing life well centered in Christ compares to the process of candle making!
My love for encouraging fellow believers in Christ has been nurtured in many different ways of serving.
In 2002 I opened a small dance studio called “Tapping on Heavens Door'' and offered Tap, Jazz, and Ballet classes ages 3 - adults using all Christian music, what an honor it was that God had prepared me for such an opportunity! The studio ran from 2002 - 2009 and was closed in order to pursue a new career. In 2011 God led me to hold a small bible study/fellowship at my home church, First Baptist Church, it was called L.I.F.T ladies in fellowship tea we joined once a week for tea, fellowship and enjoyed creative ideas to share God’s Word. I also very much enjoyed leading VBS as well as the 1st & 2nd Grade Sunday school classes for many years.
